Andre Marquez Architects, Inc. was started by the husband and wife team of Joel André and Georgie Márquez in 1993. They are both graduates of Pratt Institute (1979), Brooklyn, NY.

Joel Andre’s background and expertise include programming, concept design, and construction document production, including specifications and cost estimating, bid document preparation and construction administration. As the Principal designer for the firm, he specializes in On-Site Design process.

Joel is a licensed architect in New York, Virginia, and North Carolina, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Georgie Márquez’s experience includes urban planning and design as well as renovation and use-conversion in the corporate and residential market. Her abilities range from initial program development to design and construction documents. As Project Administrator for the firm she is in charge of client relations and marketing.
